✂️ What Paper Do I Use for Printing My Craft Designs? For my US customers
This is a question I get asked a lot, so I thought I’d put together a handy guide to the papers I use and recommend for printing my designs—especially for flowers and layered projects.
The paper you choose can make such a difference to the final look and feel of your project. You can achieve so many different finishes just by switching up your paper choice—from soft and delicate to bold and glossy
Below is a list of my go-to paper types, along with the kinds of projects I use them for. I’ve also included space for links so you can easily find options available in your own country.

🌸 My Favourite Paper for Printing Flowers
This is my absolute go-to for flower sheets. It has just the right weight and texture to allow you to shape, curl, and layer petals beautifully without cracking.

📄 Matte Paper and Card(Great All-Rounder)
Matte paper is perfect if you want a soft, non-shiny finish. It’s ideal for most cardmaking projects, especially when you want a more natural look.

✨ Gloss Paper (For Vibrant Colours)
If you want your designs to really pop, gloss paper is a great choice. It enhances colours and gives a more professional, printed look—perfect for toppers and photo-style designs.

🌫️ Printable Vellum
Vellum adds a beautiful soft, translucent layer to your projects. It’s lovely for overlays, sentiments, and delicate details.

💎 Printable Acetate
Acetate is perfect for adding clear layers, stained glass windows, and shaker elements. It gives a really modern and professional finish to your cards. I also use this in my kinetic cards, bookmarks etc...

🧵 Printable Fabric sheets
Cotton paper has a gorgeous textured, high-quality feel. It’s perfect for more premium projects like wedding stationery or special occasion cards.

💡 A Little Tip
Don’t be afraid to experiment! The same design can look completely different depending on the paper you use. Mixing textures—like matte with vellum or acetate—can really elevate your projects and make them stand out.
I hope this helps you choose the right paper for your projects and gives you a little inspiration to try something new. Happy crafting! ✂️✨
