Step into a world of soft romance and timeless charm with this beautiful vintage shabby chic paper collection.
You can find it on the website here: https://shop.obyd.co.uk/b/lpLdQ
This curated set includes 10 A4 pages filled with elegant background papers, coordinating toppers, decorative panels, and heartfelt sentiments—perfectly designed to mix and match with ease.
With its gentle, dreamy colour palette and subtle musical theme woven through selected music sheet and script designs, this collection feels nostalgic, delicate, and full of old-world charm. It’s ideal for adding a touch of vintage elegance to all your creative projects.
Whether you’re crafting handmade cards, tags, bookmarks, ATCs, flip flaps, folios, junk journals, brag books, albums, mixed media pieces, or even home décor projects, these papers are wonderfully versatile and easy to work with.
This is also a fantastic kit to experiment with printing onto different mediums. Try printing on matt paper for a soft vintage finish, glossy photo paper for richer tones with a glossy finish, textured cardstock for added depth and texture, or even printable rice paper for delicate layering. You could also explore vellum for a dreamy translucent effect or printable fabric sheets for a unique mixed-media twist. The designs adapt beautifully across a variety of surfaces, giving you endless creative possibilities.
What’s included:
• 10 A4 printable pages
• A mix of vintage-style papers including 2 x A4 sheets of Amanda’s special shabby chic vintage rustic papers, plus toppers, panels, and sentiments
• Soft, romantic shabby chic aesthetic
• Subtle musical script and sheet music elements
• Perfect for fussy cutting, layering, and collage-style projects
This collection is designed to help you create projects that feel warm, nostalgic, and beautifully timeless—perfect for crafters who love a romantic, vintage-inspired look with a gentle artistic twist.
Here are some of the samples made using the collection, in the cards below i have printed onto different styles of paper, super smooth 160gsmpaper, hammered card, photo paper and printable vellum

This kit works beautifully with items you already have in your stash. Take a look around your craft room for cream, beige, and soft blue embellishments, ribbons, lace, pearls, flowers, and coordinating cardstock. Mixing and matching what you already own with these papers will really let your imagination run free and help you create something truly unique.
It’s ideal for both beginners and more experienced crafters. Even simple matting and layering techniques can create a stunning result. Add a chipboard sentiment and a touch of lace, and you instantly achieve a soft, pretty, shabby chic finish with very little effort.
For those who love to experiment and push their creativity further, this collection is perfect for distressed and textured techniques. Try tearing and inking the edges, gently scrunching your papers for a creased vintage effect, or adding texture mediums and a touch of gilding wax for extra depth.
You could even create your own coordinating vintage papers by tea staining or coffee staining plain sheets to complement the designs. I shared this technique in my Facebook group years ago — it’s such fun and so easy to do at home, and it adds a beautifully authentic aged look to your projects.

his collection is absolutely perfect to pair with your handmade flowers, delicate die-cut leaves, and even wax seals for that extra touch of vintage elegance. Imagine layered blooms in soft creams and dusty blues, tucked amongst gently inked foliage, finished with a beautifully melted wax seal for a timeless, romantic feel. The gentle tones in this kit allow your dimensional elements to truly shine while still keeping everything beautifully cohesive.
If you’re in the mood to get a little inky, this kit responds wonderfully to distressing techniques. Lightly blend ink around the edges for a soft aged look, deepen torn edges for added drama, or create artistic splodges and delicate paint flicks across your backgrounds for a more expressive, mixed-media style. A few subtle splashes of white paint can add a dreamy softness, while deeper sepia or brown tones can enhance that antique charm.
This is also the perfect kit for anyone who loves collage, decopatch, or decoupage. The designs layer beautifully, allowing you to build depth and interest with overlapping panels, torn fragments, lace pieces, and ephemera. Use Mod Podge to adhere and seal your papers onto albums, mirror frames, storage boxes, coasters, trays, canvases, or even small pieces of furniture. The vintage aesthetic lends itself effortlessly to home décor projects, transforming everyday items into romantic shabby chic treasures.
Whether you’re working on cards, journals, or decorative keepsakes, this collection invites you to experiment, layer, texture, and truly make each project your own.

From handmade junk journals (as shown above) to sweet little tags and bookmarks (below), this kit is designed to be simple, enjoyable, and incredibly easy to use. It’s the kind of collection you can start with today — and keep coming back to again and again as your skills grow.
What makes this kit so special is that it evolves with you on your creative journey. As you learn new techniques, you’ll find fresh ways to use these papers. Try them with Mod Podge projects, fabric printing, paper piecing, or even iris folding. Use the designs as beautiful bases for your quilled flowers and leaves, or create album signatures and journal inserts that feel cohesive and thoughtfully designed.
You can even use the papers to cover books and notebooks — just like we used to do at school — but this time with a beautifully elegant, shabby chic twist. Create your own set of decorative stationery, recipe books, meal planners, or food diaries that you’ll feel proud to use every day. Buying pretty notebooks can be expensive, but plain ones are easy to find in pound or dollar stores — and with this kit, you can transform them into something truly special.
Why not make your own card sketch ideas book too? It’s such a lovely way to keep track of layouts, colour combinations, and design ideas ready for your next crafty session.
I also hope you love the special vintage rustic shabby chic papers included in the collection (pages 4 and 9). I usually sell these individually for £2 each, so there’s £4 worth of value in those two sheets alone. They make stunning backgrounds for cards and beautiful covers for albums and journals. The illusion of layered mixed media, texture paste, and gently peeling paint creates the most gorgeous bases for tags and bookmarks. You could even wrap canvases or decorative boxes with them for a cohesive, vintage-inspired look.
This truly is a collection that keeps on giving — whether you’re crafting for pleasure, gifting handmade treasures, or creating practical pieces with a beautiful personal touch.

Honestly, I could talk about this kit for hours — there are just so many ways to use it! One thing I haven’t even properly touched on yet is how beautifully it works with dried, pressed, and preserved flowers.
This collection will make the most stunning base for layering your own home-dried blooms. The soft vintage tones and subtle detailing complement natural petals and foliage perfectly, allowing the delicate textures of pressed flowers to really stand out. I had hoped to show you some examples, but I’ve completely run out of my dried flowers — so as soon as the weather warms up and the gardens start bursting into bloom again, I’ll definitely be making more!
Using these papers with pressed flowers could easily be a whole project (or even a mini-series) on its own. From framed art pieces to embellished journal covers, cards, and bookmarks, the combination is just beautiful. And if pressing your own flowers isn’t your thing, you can always buy ready-prepared dried flower packs online — they work just as well.
If this is something you’d love to see, do remind me and I’ll put together a little video to show you exactly how I use them. I think you’ll absolutely love the effect.
As I wrap up, I truly hope this kit sparks lots of inspiration for you and opens the door to so many beautiful creative possibilities. Whether you’re making cards, journals, home décor, or experimenting with new techniques, I hope you enjoy every moment of working with it.
It has been created with so much love, and I genuinely hope you love using it just as much as I loved designing and teaching with it.
Happy crafting ✂️xo
