I’m also still working my way through all the lovely name suggestions you gave me last year — thank you so much to everyone who shared such super cute ideas for my new characters. I really do appreciate them all 💛
I hope you enjoy creating with this one as much as I enjoyed making it!

Handmade Z-fold card
How to Make a Z-Fold Card (5x7 Card Blank)
Start with your card blank
- Place your 5x7 card blank in front of you closed in a portrait orientation (tall side up).
Score the front panel
- Find the front of the card and score it in half from top to bottom (for a 5x7 card, this is 2.5 inches).
- Burnish the score line with a bone folder or scoring tool to create a crisp fold.
Fold to create the Z
- Fold along the score line toward the back. This creates the “Z” shape when viewed from above.
Admire your Z-fold
- Close the card again—when you open it, the front panel folds in like a Z, giving you that layered, dimensional effect.

The link is for the gold but there are lots of colour options available on the page
The intricate die cut is called A2 Swirl from Spellbinders
The embossed panel is just white cardstock that has been ran through my die cutting machine with this embossing folder

This is such a sweet little card, perfect for posting as it is nice and flat. As well as greetings cards these also make really nice notecards for when you just want to send someone a little message.
I hope you enjoy these card samples! I wanted to show a mix of simple cards as well as a fancier fold to demonstrate that these topper sheets are perfect for cardmakers of all levels. The designs are lovely enough to stand beautifully on their own, or you can add your own flair with die cuts, handmade flowers, or a little sparkle to make each card truly unique. Whether you’re keeping it simple or going all out, these sheets make creating pretty cards a joy!
