🌸 Exciting Little Gift Box Idea! 🌸

I just made this adorable gift box/basket using today’s NEW patchwork paper, and I couldn’t wait to share! There’s a sweet little spot to the left of the Patio rose where you can pop in a tiny box of chocolates—making it the perfect mini gift that’s full of charm.

You can find the patchwork paper download here: https://shop.obyd.co.uk/b/I2rH5

We have lots of colours and styles available, you can find all of the Quilted Companion Patchwork Papers Here

I crafted this box / basket using my Topscore Scoreboard from Crafters Companion, which comes with a handy instruction guide for box-making. Plus, Crafters Companion has loads of step-by-step box-making videos on YouTube to guide you through the construction. Honestly, you’ll be amazed at how quick and easy these boxes are to make!

🩷 Craft Fair Tip: These little beauties are a real crowd-pleaser! They look irresistible on a table and can be filled with almost anything:

  • Plants & flowers – fresh or artificial (Tip: if using real plants or flowers, wrap them in cellophane to prevent the box from getting wet).
  • Sweets & biscuits – always a winner!
  • Chocolates - perfect for easter as well!
  • Fruit – reinforce the box with stronger card for extra stability or decorate a box you already have. Im sure we all have amazon boxes lying around!
  • Toiletries or candles – personalise for a thoughtful touch.
  • Baby shower gift - fill with baby items

These boxes aren’t just pretty—they’re versatile, fun, and perfect for gifting. Whether you’re making them for craft fairs, friends, or just a little treat for yourself, they’re sure to delight anyone who receives them!

Flowers have always been a huge part of my life. As a fully qualified florist, I spent many years surrounded by beautiful blooms every single day. Although I hung up the snips from day-to-day shop life quite a while ago, my love for flowers and plants has never gone away. I still enjoy dipping back into floristry now and again—whether that’s creating special gifts, working on events, or the occasional wedding. Alongside that, crafting has always been my other passion… so it probably comes as no surprise that the two have blended together over the years in the most wonderful way 💛 Creating flowers out of paper is something I’ve absolutely fallen in love with—and it’s been a passion of mine for over 20 years now. Whether they are stamped, die-cut, or printed, there is something...
