Showcasing the New Spring Floral Papers Set
Today I’m so excited to share the sample cards I’ve created using the brand new Opulence By Design Crafts – Paper Addicts Bold Botanicals: Spring Florals Collection — and they are bursting with colour and life.
This collection features four A4 landscape designer papers filled with bold, statement spring florals that instantly transform a simple card base into something striking and artistic. The scale and vibrancy of the botanicals make them perfect for eye-catching focal panels, dramatic backgrounds, or layered collage-style designs.
For these samples, I explored different ways to let the papers shine — from clean matting and layering to more decorative finishes. The beauty of this set is its versatility. While I’ve focused on cardmaking here, these same designs would work beautifully for decoupage, album crafts, MDF projects, glass and ceramic decorations, and even larger home décor pieces.

Here are some of the samples made with this collection:
5x7 Handmade the card features matting and layering of dark olive green cardstock, gold mirror card obviously the new spring florals paper which i used as a large topper for the front of the card.
Then the card was adorned with die cut leaves that were initially water-coloured before applying panpastels and using some of my flowers that i have made available as Print cut and form flowers sheets - you can find these on the website here: here
These can be used just as they are but you can also add more colour with ink pads, or markers
This is my floating tower card that i did in one of my recent classes
Matching handmade tag
Concertina Card - the Happy Birthday Topper is secured on the left - backside of the topper so the card can still be opened and closed
A matching box will be made for this one when it is ready to send to it's intended recipient
Sharing Laura's Easel Card - isn't this pretty!?
She used a Spellbinders embossing folder to emboss the beautiful lemon cardstock
Laura has very cleverly used one of the larger tulips on the backing paper to create a focal topper, she has then printed off multiple sheets to cut into to create a beautiful 3d decoupaged tulip
The below card shows for the Easel Card closes
The papers have even been punched using a flower punch to create some of the flowers on the front of the card
Rolled Roses, Print cut and form ivy and some die cut foliage have been used to decorated the front of the card
