NEW KIT LAUNCH – Tulip Harmony & Iris Beauty

Good morning, afternoon, and evening to all my lovely crafting friends!

Today is such an exciting day because I finally get to share something I’ve been working on with so much love — my brand-new kit, Opulence By Design: Tulip Harmony & Iris Beauty.

You can find it on the website here - https://shop.obyd.co.uk/b/FWEXk

This collection is truly a little bundle of floral joy. It features beautifully elegant blue irises paired with soft, luxurious tulips, all wrapped together in a fresh, opulent colour palette. Whether you’re a cardmaker, a journaler, or a mixed-media creator, this kit is designed to inspire you the moment you see it.

🌼 What’s Inside the 15-Page Digital Kit?

You’ll receive a carefully curated selection of:

  • Beautiful toppers
  • Coordinating panels
  • Ready-to-use sentiments
  • Stunning backing papers

Each page has been thoughtfully created to give you endless flexibility. Whether you prefer clean and simple designs or intricate, layered makes, these pages adapt to your style effortlessly.

Here are all 15 pages in the kit:

A Truly Versatile Crafting Kit

One of the things I love most about this collection is how versatile it is. I’ve created lots of samples to show you just how many different projects you can use it for — and honestly, I had so much fun making them!

This kit works beautifully for:

  • Mini scrapbook albums
  • Junk journals
  • ATCs
  • Mixed media pieces
  • Home décor projects
  • …and of course, cardmaking!

The designs are detailed enough to stand alone, yet soft enough to use underneath intricate die-cuts and handmade flowers without worrying about covering up too much of the artwork. It’s the perfect balance.

Decorated Box Lid

I was having a play with my scoreboard again - 5 panels

I used 2 sheets of A4 Card to get the length for this one

Below is Laura's floating topper card

The photos shows it flat for posting

This is the card standing

This is the card open - the sentiment is on the back of the base panel

Intricate cutting layers using the cameo - another handmade box/ box lid

Simple card using you can use the artwork with die cuts on top

I made the card below and i just didn't like the gems.. (they looked so lovely in the pack) i ended up changing them for smaller lilac ones but i forgot to take a pic..

Let’s Talk About Those Flowers! April 28, 2026 Pretty Carnations Card So Many Questions… Let’s Talk About Those Flowers! 💙🍃 I recently shared a card over on Facebook, and I honestly wasn’t expecting the response it received! I’ve had so many lovely comments, questions, and private messages about how I created the flowers — thank you so much 💙 It has got to the point where it’s just physically impossible to reply to everyone individually, so I thought the easiest (and most helpful!) way would be to put everything together here in a blog post for you.   Buy This As A Download 🌸 Combining My Two Loves – Flowers & Crafting 🌸 This blog post includes amazon affiliate links - there is no cost to you but it helps support our blog posts and video tutorials. Flowers have always been a huge part of my life. As a fully qualified florist, I spent many years surrounded by beautiful blooms every single day. Although I hung up the snips from day-to-day shop life quite a while ago, my love for flowers and plants has never gone away. I still enjoy dipping back into floristry now and again—whether that’s creating special gifts, working on events, or the occasional wedding. Alongside that, crafting has always been my other passion… so it probably comes as no surprise that the two have blended together over the years in the most wonderful way 💛 Creating flowers out of paper is something I’ve absolutely fallen in love with—and it’s been a passion of mine for over 20 years now. Whether they are stamped, die-cut, or printed, there is something...
