Crafting Fusion: Knitting, Crochet & Beadwork in One Pretty Headband πΏπ✨
I love looking back through my old projects, and I just had to share this sweet little headband I made a few years ago — it's a lovely mix of knitting, crochet, and beadwork all rolled into one!
The main band was knitted using the beautifully soft and chunky Rowan Big Wool (you can find it here). It works up so quickly and has such a lovely texture — perfect for cosy accessories like this.
To bring the piece to life, I added some crocheted leaves in a fresh green cotton yarn (link here) and delicate little blue flowers using a gorgeous soft shade of yarn (you can find it here).
For that extra bit of sparkle (because who doesn’t love a bit of shimmer!), I finished it off with some Swarovski beads and pearls I picked up from work at the time. They added just the right touch of elegance and detail to this nature-inspired piece.
I hope this inspires you to mix your mediums and play with textures — sometimes the most beautiful things come from combining your favourite crafts! π«
