If you missed the launch blog post that goes into detail about the kit and some of it's potential you can find it here

I hope you like this little card i made for the launch using my New Spellbinders flower dies i have been getting

** Disclosure: As an Amazon Associate, I may earn a small commission if you make a purchase through my UK Amazon affiliate links. This comes at no extra cost to you but helps support my work.

I have made this A5 Card and added lot of yummy bits, i will also be posting a much simpler card later so you can see different ideas for how this kit can be used for your handmade card projects

Supplies List for the card

The cardblank was made by folding a 300gsm A4 Sheet in half to make a A5 Card - i used my scoreboard for this - https://amzn.to/3F5gKmO

The background paper was printed onto my 160gsm super smooth paper - https://amzn.to/4bpeF19

The shiny topper was printed onto my favourite glossy printing paper - https://amzn.to/3F38h3r

The Backing paper and topper are from the kit - you can find it on the website here:  https://shop.obyd.co.uk/b/tnzPp

The beautiful pink flowers were made with my NEW Spellbinders flower set - https://amzn.to/3F5gKmO

I used Creative Expressions micro beads for the "pink flower" centres - i used the pearl ones but sadly there's non left. I have ordered some of the other colours before the disappear :-( if you would like to take a look at the other colours available on amazon there is:

The Gold - https://amzn.to/4ipS2vB

The copper - https://amzn.to/4ipS2vB

The Black - https://amzn.to/4hVQIAV ( i have the black already it is perfect for Poppies and Anemones)

The small daisy die is from an old Leane Creatief die set (sadly this is no longer available on amazon)

The foliage is all from this spellbinders foliage die set - https://amzn.to/41xxB9w

I used the Spellbinders tool set to shape all of the foliage and flowers as well as using the detail tweezers to help with placement - you can find the kit here - https://amzn.to/43n5dZV

I coloured the leaves in with my green marker -https://amzn.to/4imcduv

Dried Flowers - The dried Gyp flowers i used can be found here: https://amzn.to/4imyoAI

I made some little bows using some natural raffia - you can find it here: https://amzn.to/3Dl7Cdc

Lace The lace that i used for the band across the backing paper base layer is this cute little vintage lace pack - there are lots of lovely colours available - https://amzn.to/43n5dZV

The gems are from Hobby Lobby

Adhesives:

Tape pens - https://amzn.to/3XrIBUq - video for these - https://youtu.be/4D4ZyLIN6aY

Wet glue for the gems - dries clear with the precision tip - https://amzn.to/4kFpNv9

Everything else was glued down with my hot glue gun

Let’s Talk About Those Flowers!

Let’s Talk About Those Flowers! April 28, 2026 Pretty Carnations Card So Many Questions… Let’s Talk About Those Flowers! 💙🍃 I recently shared a card over on Facebook, and I honestly wasn’t expecting the response it received! I’ve had so many lovely comments, questions, and private messages about how I created the flowers — thank you so much 💙 It has got to the point where it’s just physically impossible to reply to everyone individually, so I thought the easiest (and most helpful!) way would be to put everything together here in a blog post for you. The Pretty Carnation Kit is available as a digital download - you can find it in the shop here: https://shop.obyd.co.uk/b/4HFqd 💙 My Top Craft Supply Picks **As an amazon associate i may receive a small commission from amazon on eligible sales made through my affiliate links.   Buy This As A Download 🌸 Combining My Two Loves – Flowers & Crafting 🌸 This blog post includes amazon affiliate links - there is no cost to you but it helps support our blog posts and video tutorials. Flowers have always been a huge part of my life. As a fully qualified florist, I spent many years surrounded by beautiful blooms every single day. Although I hung up the snips from day-to-day shop life quite a while ago, my love for flowers and plants has never gone away. I still enjoy dipping back into floristry now and again—whether that’s creating special gifts, working on events, or the occasional wedding. Alongside that, crafting has always been my other passion… so it probably comes as no surprise that the two have blended together over the years in the most wonderful way 💛 Creating flowers out of paper is something I’ve absolutely fallen in love with—and it’s been a passion of mine for over 20 years now. Whether they are stamped, die-cut, or printed, there is something...
