The weather was quite nice this weekend too — it was lovely to see some sunshine ☀️🌷 I hope it was nice where you are too!

Making my own printed cardblank

(for anyone who doesn't have a printer i have included the link above to the printed option above which is available worldwide on amazon)

The cardblank was created by printing one of the backing papers onto 300gsm super smooth card - https://amzn.to/4bFdNW0

I used my crafters companion scoreboard - https://amzn.to/4hjxdkv to score this in half to make my a5 card

Creating the focal points

I trimmed down the topper and sentiment then mounted onto some Rose gold Mirror card - https://amzn.to/3DhEIL9

The floral topper:

For the larger flowers i dissected some of the flowers from this set - https://amzn.to/3QXcYOQ and remade some flowers using just 3 layers. I popped some pink wilton stamens in the centre

The gems used for the corners are from Hobby Lobby

I glued down all of the flowers and leaves using my hot melt glue gun (I have had this for years you may have seen it in my videos - the old one is yellow. The new one is white - you can find it on amazon here: https://amzn.to/4ixAXju - i think these offer great value for money!! Look what it comes with it for the price.

The gems are self adhesive but i always add a little extra wet glue - https://amzn.to/4ia410G i am so excited to be able to get this on amazon in the UK i used to use this all the time when i lived in Canada. It is a really good all - round glue. It dries clear, comes with different tips and it never clumps.. as well as being one iof the few wet glues that don't create wrinkles in your paper layers.

Step 1: Creating the Card Blank

1. Print Your Backing Paper: Using one of the beautiful backing papers from the Hollywood Glamour Kit, print it onto 300gsm Super Smooth Card for a high-quality finish. (Cardstock Link)
2. Score Your Card: Using your Crafter's Companion Scoreboard, score the card in half to create an A5 size card blank. This will give you a nice crisp fold. (Scoreboard Link)
3. Fold Your Card: Fold along the score line and burnish with a bone folder for a professional finish.

Step 2: Creating the Focal Points

1. Trim Your Topper & Sentiment: Cut out your topper and sentiment from the Hollywood Glamour Kit.
2. Mat with Mirror Card: Mount both the topper and sentiment onto Rose Gold Mirror Card to give them a luxurious edge. Trim them down leaving a small border. (Mirror Card Link)
3. Attach to Card: Use foam pads or glue to adhere the topper and sentiment to your card blank.

Step 3: Creating the Floral Arrangement

The Ferns:

1. Die Cut Your Foliage: Using the Spellbinders Foliage Die Set, cut several pieces of foliage using white and rose gold card. (Die Set Link)
2. Arrange Your Ferns: Place the ferns around your topper to create a soft floral frame. Adhere with hot glue

The Small Flowers:

1. Add Small Flowers: Use the cream and pink small flowers from this set: Get them here
2. Place Them in Clusters: Tuck them in around the ferns to build dimension and texture.

The Larger Flowers:

1. Dissect the Larger Flowers: Using the larger flowers from this set: Purchase here, gently pull apart some of the flowers.
2. Rebuild the Flowers: Take 3 layers from each flower, stack them together, and pierce a hole in the centre.
3. Add a Stamen Centre: Use the Wilton Pink Stamens to create a pretty flower centre, then adhere to your card.

 Step 4: Finishing Touches

1. Add Gems: Finish off by adding gems to each of the four corners of your card. I used Hobby Lobby Gems, but any coordinating gems will work beautifully.
2. Optional: You can add glitter glue or shimmer spray to the flowers for extra sparkle!
3. Want extra sparkle? Why not add some glitter to the topper using some stickles
