The Ophelia Launch and Handmade Flower cards session blog post

Happy Tuesday Crafty friends!!

It is a bit of a wet and grey day here Up't North.

Sorry for the lack of posts over the last 2 weeks we have been on our holidays. I tried to bring some sunshine back with me in the suitcase but it must have escaped at the airport when it saw where it was headed lol.

I am super excited for today's launch it's not just paper..

Introducing the New A4 Ophelia Collection!

I am thrilled to announce the launch of our latest creation, the A4 Ophelia Collection! For those who have been with me since the beginning, you might remember the mini 8x8 Ophelia set from our old Etsy store.

Due to popular demand, we have expanded this beloved collection into a larger A4 format and created more sheets for the kit.

The Ophelia Collection is designed with a stunning faux gold palette, offering the closest resemblance to real gold that you can achieve with a home printer. This collection is perfect for adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to your projects.

We hope you enjoy the beautiful samples created with this collection and find inspiration for your own creations.

This is a timeless design that can be used all year round!!

You can find it on the website here: https://shop.obyd.co.uk/b/3UwQ2

The kit contains:

15 x A4 Pages - here are the designs included:

We had a group session a few weeks ago we used the papers as backgrounds to create these cards:

We used:

The Ophelia collection for the background papers - https://shop.obyd.co.uk/b/3UwQ2

The beautiful Spellbinders flower die can be found here - https://amzn.to/3zO2qN2 these were so much fun to make up.

(Laura ordered hers from Spellbinders direct in the US)

The loopy rectangle die can be found on amazon here - https://amzn.to/47QPuCD

I used some moss in the bottom card around the leaves and flowers along with some stranded pearls

My card is A5 which was made by scoring and folding a sheet of A4 Card in half and Laura did the same by folding a sheet of Letter Size Card in half to fit her envelopes from Michaels.

I made a little bow using some 5mm satin ribbon and Laura used a pre-made bow from Holly Lobby

This exquisite collection is designed to inspire creativity and elegance in every project.

Here are a few more ways that they could be used:

This kit is perfect to use with a cinch machine to create your own albums, note books and more

If you are new to Cinch - check out the We R Memory Keepers Cinch tools and accessories. We used to sell these at work and are great fun to use!!

You can find the Cinch products on their shop page here: https://amzn.to/4dZCZa4

These elegant papers are perfect for adding a touch of sophistication to your home decor projects. They can be used to decorate coasters and placemats, creating stunning and unique items for your home. Additionally, they are ideal for backing MDF pieces such as signs, plaques, art-boards, and hanging hearts & palettes, giving your creations a beautiful and professional finish

I hope you have liked looking at today's projects i really enjoyed making them and typing up the supplies list for you. *** Please note that the craft supplies links for the products are from Amazon UK - all items were in stock at the point of writing this blog. If you are reading this in the future and the link doesn't work it is probably because the item has sold out.

Let’s Talk About Those Flowers! April 28, 2026 Pretty Carnations Card So Many Questions… Let’s Talk About Those Flowers! 💙🍃 I recently shared a card over on Facebook, and I honestly wasn’t expecting the response it received! I’ve had so many lovely comments, questions, and private messages about how I created the flowers — thank you so much 💙 It has got to the point where it’s just physically impossible to reply to everyone individually, so I thought the easiest (and most helpful!) way would be to put everything together here in a blog post for you. Paper Flowers Made Beautiful: Techniques, Tips & Inspiration

Buy This As A Download 🌸 Combining My Two Loves – Flowers & Crafting 🌸 This blog post includes amazon affiliate links - there is no cost to you but it helps support our blog posts and video tutorials. Flowers have always been a huge part of my life. As a fully qualified florist, I spent many years surrounded by beautiful blooms every single day. Although I hung up the snips from day-to-day shop life quite a while ago, my love for flowers and plants has never gone away. I still enjoy dipping back into floristry now and again—whether that’s creating special gifts, working on events, or the occasional wedding. Alongside that, crafting has always been my other passion… so it probably comes as no surprise that the two have blended together over the years in the most wonderful way 💛 Creating flowers out of paper is something I’ve absolutely fallen in love with—and it’s been a passion of mine for over 20 years now. Whether they are stamped, die-cut, or printed, there is something...
