Burst Into Bloom Japanese Anemone Handmade Square Card project with handmade printable Anemone Flowers and Leaves

There’s something magical about the moment when Japanese Anemones burst into bloom. Their delicate petals, like whispers of spring, unfurl in shades of pink and white. Against the rustic backdrop of the wood fence, they create a serene contrast—a gentle rebellion against the fading greens of late summer. It’s as if they’re saying, “Look at us! We’re here to brighten your day!” And indeed, they do. These resilient beauties thrive in the shade, their tall stems swaying gracefully, providing nectar for bumblebees and a splash of colour when other plants begin to retreat.

Let’s Talk About Those Flowers!

Let’s Talk About Those Flowers! April 28, 2026 Pretty Carnations Card So Many Questions… Let’s Talk About Those Flowers! 💙🍃 I recently shared a card over on Facebook, and I honestly wasn’t expecting the response it received! I’ve had so many lovely comments, questions, and private messages about how I created the flowers — thank you so much 💙 It has got to the point where it’s just physically impossible to reply to everyone individually, so I thought the easiest (and most helpful!) way would be to put everything together here in a blog post for you. Flowers have always been a huge part of my life. As a fully qualified florist, I spent many years surrounded by beautiful blooms every single day.
