I hope you like today's little kit.. here's the little story behind it where the inspiration came from.
Build it and they will come
Imagine your charming bee hotel, suspended from the fence like a tiny wooden inn. It's cozy compartments await their buzzing guests, who flit about the nearby Japanese anemones. These delicate flowers, with their pale pink or white blooms, sway gracefully on tall stems, creating a picturesque backdrop. The bees, both bumble and honey, zip around, collecting pollen with enthusiasm. It’s a harmonious garden symphony—the gentle hum of bees, the anemones dancing in the breeze, and your bee hotel playing host to these tireless pollinators.

Two years ago we moved into a new build and there was no garden just a plot of soggy clay and a piece of wire that separated our boundary from our neighbours

We love gardening so we have worked really hard to build somewhere for not only our friends and family to enjoy but also our little bee and lady bug friends and our pet frog and pigeon. We also get visited every day by a large group of starlings and have a nightly fly-over by a large group of swifts.
I have been really surprised by the amount of beautiful butterflies we have had in the garden including the common white which has ravaged my brassicas but I have left the eggs and am waiting for the little caterpillars to start climbing all over my nasturtiums munching as they go lol (everyone is welcome)

I will try and get a picture of Froggie, he comes to say hello every morning but disappears if he sees my phone lol he's super quick

They say... build it and they will come - they sure have and we are so lucky!

This kit has been created to make a whole host of crafty projects:
Handmade cards, notelets and stationary, this will be a great base to make a mini scrapbook album to capture family garden parties and BBQ's as well as a junk journal and dairy for my gardening projects.

Insect and Bee Hotels
I hope you like my little insect hotel if you would like to get one for yourself you can find it on amazon using my affiliate link here: https://amzn.to/3AmXCOB
Why buy a insect hotel?
Insect hotels aren’t just cozy hideaways for bugs; they’re also a chance for you and your family to connect with nature. Imagine little ones observing ladybirds, bees, and other critters up close. It’s like having a tiny wildlife sanctuary right in your garden!
As natural habitats shrink due to urbanization, insects struggle to find safe nesting spots. By creating an insect hotel, you provide refuge for these tiny creatures. It’s like offering them a cozy Airbnb where they can hibernate without fear of eviction.
Many insects attracted to your hotel are beneficial. Ladybirds, for instance, feast on aphids, helping keep your plants healthy. Say goodbye to chemical pesticides and hello to these eco-friendly pest controllers!
Pollinator Power!
Insect hotels attract pollinators like solitary bees, butterflies, and beetles. These little heroes ensure your garden blooms beautifully. From ornamental flowers to food crops, they’re the unsung pollination champions
Low cost and eco friendly - You don’t need a fancy hotel chain for bugs. Use leftover materials like pine cones, twigs, and old plant pots. It’s a win-win: bugs get shelter, and you declutter your garden shed!
So, whether you’re a seasoned gardener or a curious beginner, consider buying or building an insect hotel.
It’s a small step that makes a big difference

I hope you like the lights they really make the garden look magical at night..I will share the links for the lights if you would like in a future post (let me know if you would like them I got some great deals on amazon)
