From Calendars to notebooks, dairies and albums having a binding machine can be a fun toy to use.. if you make things to sell online or craft fairs once you have paid for the machine it can work out quite cost effective to make your own with a binding machine - notebooks and calendars to buy in the shops have shot up in price
Take a look at these binding machines, tools and accessories on Amazon here: https://amzn.to/45IWroy

I got a few of these mini canvasses from the works they are so cute
I cut out the 8x8 sheet and i covered the canvas in mod podge and popped the sheet on top then using an old store card i scraped out any bubbles
I cut the sheet the sheet at the corners so that i could wrap the sheet around the canvas so the sides also have the design on - just like they sell in print shops when you have your own canvas printed

This one i created my own A4 sheet by using my printer settings, printed onto cardstock this is going to be framed to go in my craft room
Here are a few more mini canvas done in the same style as above

A spot of up-cycling... do you have an old boring clock that need's a bit of a freshen up..
When not give it a bit of an up-cycle
Clocks are pretty easy to dismantle.. just take them apart so you can get to the face. Remove the hands and the mechanism. Cover you clock face in mod podge and pop on your new design.. use an old store card or bank card to run over the paper to get rid of any unwanted bubbles. I always like to give my new face a coat of mod podge too it helps seal it and prevents a little bit of sun fading.

If you don't have a clock to up-cycle why not have a go at making your own with this mdf clock kit from amazon - https://amzn.to/3RG8Wvb
As promised here is the recipe for the boozy scones!!
Fruit scone recipe:
Here’s a delightful fruit scones recipe that you can whip up in just 15 minutes. These scones are perfect for an elegant afternoon tea or a sweet weekend treat. Serve them with jam and clotted cream for the ultimate indulgence!
Fruit Scones Recipe
Ingredients:
- 450g self-raising flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100g unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 75g caster sugar
- 300ml milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Juice of half a lemon
- 100g sultanas (or your favourite dried fruit) if you would like to make your scones a little boozy you can add a few tbsp of brandy to your fruit the night before and let them soak to give them a little kick (just like when you make your Christmas cake)
Instructions:
- Heat your oven to 220°C (200°C fan/gas mark 7).
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
- Add the cold cubed butter and rub it into the dry mix with your fingers until it resembles fine crumbs.
- Stir in the caster sugar.
- Warm the milk in a microwave-safe jug for about 30 seconds (it should be warm but not hot). Add the vanilla extract and lemon juice to the milk.
- Make a well in the dry mix and pour in the liquid along with the sultanas. Quickly combine everything with a cutlery knife; the dough will seem wet at first.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and fold it over 2-3 times until it’s a little smoother.
- Pat the dough into a round about 4cm deep.
- Use a 5cm cutter (dipped in flour) to cut out scones. Place them on a hot baking tray.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 10 minutes until risen and golden.
- Enjoy warm or cold, generously topped with jam and clotted cream.
Remember, if you freeze any leftovers, defrost them and then refresh them in a low oven (about 160°C/140°C fan/gas mark 3) for a few minutes to bring them back to life
Happy baking!
