This little book is fab and great for newbies to air frying as there are lots of tips and techniques to build your confidence in this new cooking style

My Air fryer journey!
I have been using an Air fryer since 2017.. a bit of a funny story really as i have bought a few of the same one.. when i moved to Canada i couldnt take my air fryer as it would work so i gave it away.
When i got to Canada it was one of the first things i bought.. i loved the BIG US appliances but the ovens took so long to come up to temperature.
In Canada i had an Emeril Legassi Air Fryer Counter Top oven and a Cosori air fryer which i loved.. i even bought a Cosori for my Mam who uses it every day!
When i moved back from Canada i couldn't bring any appliances back with me due to the different voltages/ watts so i have replaced my favourites with New ones with UK plugs i was even given a Ninja as a house warming gift so i currently have 3.
- Unlike traditional frying, air fryers require little to no oil to cook food, resulting in a significant reduction in the amount of fat and calories in your finished meal.
- The cooking time is reduced
- The air fryers are a lot easier to clean and you can buy liners for them if you would like to use them
- Air fryers use a unique cooking method that circulates hot air around the food, resulting in a crispy exterior and a moist interior which is awesome for cooking things like pork chops.
- Shorter cooking times also help food retain their nutritional benefits, unlike boiling or steaming methods that can leach out some of the essential vitamins and minerals therefore loosing their benefits and altering the freshness in flavour.
- Air fryers are incredibly time efficient helping you save energy costs in the home
- Using an air fryer also reduced the heat put into the home during the summer months.. heating a conventional oven can be costly and time consuming.. it also heats up the home
The book which you can find on amazon here: https://amzn.to/3KUwrg1
I got this book as it is a best seller on Amazon so i thought i would give it a go it has some fabulous recipes in it, which i intend working my way through so stay tuned for more food pics spam on facebook.
The minted lamb and chocolate cake recipes are next on my list to try lol. I love making more indepth dishes on a weekend but during the week i am looking for quick and easy dishes i can cook and this book has some lovely ideas that seem quick and easy to prepare and cook.
I would definitely recommend this cook book if you are looking for ideas for your air fryer!
My Cosori if you would like to take a look can be found here on Amazon - https://amzn.to/4c4YeX9
It is a 5.5L which is about the same size i had in Canada.. this is perfect for 2 of us and can even hold a small chicken. What i love about Cosori is the ease of use.. it has an app if you would like to use it, comes with a cook book and an online community. There are facebook groups where you can share recipes so it is perfect not only for beginners but also advanced users.
The basket can be popped in the dish washer for easy cleaning
** top tip i have 2 baskets - i i use for every day and i have an additional basket that i use for my Spicy Indian dishes. Just so there is no transfer of spices as we use a lot of garlic, ginger and chillies in our Indian dishes. You can buy replacement baskets on amazon here: https://amzn.to/3xn6jHB
Why not check out some of the accessories for Cosori over on amazon here: https://amzn.to/3VNf9b2
My Cosori is my main air fryer as that is what i am used to using but i do also have a ninja you can find it here on amazon -https://amzn.to/4c3vTQV in my humble opinion this is perfect for anyone who is new to air fryers maybe someone who doesn't cook much who is just looking for something to cook things such as burgers, sausage, oven chips, chicken nuggets etc... this is so easy to use and is so easy to clean out. It does the most amazing chicken wings as whatevever you are cooking has direct contact with the tin rather than the large mesh basket style of the cosori basket
Lastly.. but not least is this little guy.. my Sage smart oven. I don't have a normal domestic oven i removed it to give me more cupboard space. I love using a counter top oven as:
It doesn't take long to come up to temp
It has so many modes it is like lots of appliances in one - it has an air fryer mode, bake mode, pizza, roast, slow cook, it is a toaster and a salamander/ Broiler
As it is at counter height i can see things as they are cooking.. and there is a little light that you can put on.
I don't have to bend down to put things in the oven or take them out everything is on the counter
As it is eye height i can see easier to keep it clean without having to bend down to clean like a conventional oven.
I had a counter top oven in Canada and have used one ever since. There is only 2 of us at home so i begrudge paying to heat a big oven up just to come one little dish.. if you would like to take a look at my oven you can find it on amazon here: https://amzn.to/3KRmiRv
Thank you for looking xo
