My top picks for Crafting Adhesives

I'm often asked what adhesives i use.. i get loads of messages asking what i used to i thought i would do a little feature on it.

I have a huge selection of favourites for my crafts -
as you can image over the years working in a Buying Team i have had the pleasure of working with lots of companies so have been very lucky to be able test lots and lots of brands and styles.

I think a lot of it is personal preference but when i am selecting a type of adhesive i looking for:
  • value for money
  • reliability that is going to hold and stand the test of time - as i sell most of my cards and makes you want a professional finish that isn't going to peel off in time.
  • It has to be easy to use. Some bottles of glue and large tape runners are just too big to hold comfortably and use.

All adhesives have different qualities that can help with different cardmaking and papercrafting
techniques..

My go to tape/ adhesive for my toppers and backing papers is my Crafters Companion tape pens. I even use it for gift wrapping presents as i know it will hold and you don't have sellotape showing on the joins of the paper.

If i am prepping for a class or demo ahead of time i can't always use a tape pen so i like the stix2 double sided rolls of tape. In my opinion i have used some of the cheaper ones from some of the pound shop style stores and i haven't been happy with the results so for me it is false economy (same with the foam on a roll)

I use the Crafters Companion tape pens for all of my live classes and my youtube videos as they never jam up and let me down
I missed these so much when i was in Canada i even pop some in my care packages for my ladies in Canada.
There is 22m of tape in a runner so they last ages and whilst jam's can happen i have been lucky not to have it happen to me and they are very comfortable to hold and use.

I  also love my Pinflair glues, my zigs, mod podge, sprays and stix2 foam tapes AND i never craft without my trusty glue gun at my side.. if i can help it (these all feature in the adhesive section - link below)

I have created a Category in my Amazon Store Front just for adhesives as i feel it is such an important element of crafting and one of those things if you don't have the right type can cause a lot of frustration

You can find my Adhesives Category here on Amazon - https://amzn.to/3QTqyn4

** As an Amazon Associate i may receive a small referral commission should you buy something through my UK Amazon Store front.** Please note that there is no charge to the customer for this.

I have personally used all of the brand and type recommendations in this section - they all have their place for different uses.

I hope you have liked this little feature.. if you have found it helpful please let me know and i will do more
blog posts like this.

Flowers have always been a huge part of my life. As a fully qualified florist, I spent many years surrounded by beautiful blooms every single day.
