Teeny Weeny Brag Book project

Teeny Weeny Brag book project

Happy Tuesday!

I hope this post finds you well.. well, what a lovely morning it is here up't North. Ive just popped some washing on the line so if it starts raining you know who to blame lol

I love fussy cutting.. i know it isn't everyone's cup of tea but i find cutting out very therapeutic. I have a Cameo 4 which i love using it sure is an extra pair of hands for all of the samples i have to make haha! But i do love sitting on a night time and cutting out it's perfect for a good old t.v catch up project or a good old netflix binge.

I have a range of Fussy cutting designs they have been designed for a whole host of crafting projects from cardmaking to decopatch/ decoupage, album making, junk journals, decorating mdf pieces or bottle art, scrapbooking to collage.

Today's add in sheet was a special request from one of my lovely ladies.. she loves to decorate her boxes and albums with metal embellishments but they have become so expensive she asked if i could look at doing something for her to use.

Once printed you can use them flat or you can give them a little shape with a ball tool and why not have a play with different finishes such as adding glossy accents or mod podge to give a shiny finish.

So here is today's little project i did for the launch i hope you like it

  • The links to Digital Downloads are my own digital download products from my website - www.obyd.co.uk
  • Also as a Amazon Associate i may receive a small referral commission should you buy something through my UK Amazon Store front. (if you would like to see what i have used and where to get it you can find the links where there is blue on the page) ** Please note that there is no charge to the customer for this.

The sheet is the Faux Metal Embellishments - Buttons, books and bits and bobs - you can find it on the website here: https://shop.obyd.co.uk/b/OK1Mk

I printed the sheet onto my favourite printing paper which you can find on amazon here: https://amzn.to/3QpAIeL - i find it a nice weight for fussy cutting but the print quality is nice and crisp

I use my westcott scissors to cut out straight edges and my Snips for fussy cutting the smaller elements

The flower stickers are from a sheet of peel off stickers i got from "Yorkshire trading"

The book was cut out and folded on each side of the line see below

The pages from the book are made out of cheap photo copier paper cut down to size folded in half to make a little book and stitched together - i use a bodkin for this. using the bodkin and a foam mat i pierce 2 holes in the middle and use this to stitch the pages together before glueing into the book.

The little faux stamps are some of my "bits" that i have cut out whilst making samples from the other sheets - you can find all of the Fussy Cut sheets here on the website - https://shop.obyd.co.uk/collection/fussy-cut-sheets

I distressed the pages with Frayed Burlap ink - https://amzn.to/44kcU1I

using a ink blending tool - https://amzn.to/44kcU1I

the button on the left of the stamp is from today's faux metal embellishments sheet

I have made a little collage sheet of little photos of family pics - they are about the same size as the stamp. I am going to cut these out and add these to the book as a little gift for a family member.

I hope you have liked todays little project
