Happy Tuesday!!
I hope this blog post finds you well, it is a bit of a grey and drizzly kind of day here so i thought i would do a little bit of crafting. This fun little make took less than 30 minutes!
Today is am using the Fancy Fussy Cuts sheet No9 you can find it here

Ingredients List
The flower is from my No9 Fancy Fussy Cut sheet which you can find here: https://shop.obyd.co.uk/b/lwgkN
I printed this onto my Navigator paper - https://shop.obyd.co.uk/b/lwgkN i find this the best one to use with bottle art/ glass art as anything heavier than this is harder to work with getting it to mold to the shape if what you are adding it to.
The jar is an old Paprika spice jar that i have removed the orange plastic lid and washed it out.
The twine i got is amazing and a fantastic price - https://amzn.to/42W95iD
I wrapped it around the neck of the bottle twice and tied with a little bow.
The texture of it is very fibrous so it looks really shabby chic.
I used Mod podge to glue the flower cut-out down and to seal it - https://amzn.to/49vB8HX
There are lots of different mod podges - gloss, matte, even ones you can use for items to go in the dishwasher. If you are new to mod podge this is a great little starter set - https://amzn.to/48rBiPm
To speed up the drying.. i used my cheapie little heat tool - https://amzn.to/3uQj5gI there are more expensive ones available but i don't use mine that much so when i came back from Canada i just got a cheap one.
To add a little sparkle to the centre of the flower i used my trusty stickles - https://amzn.to/3wxaY9g
Tip - When using mod podge wash your brushes as soon as you have finished or it will dry hard.
I never use my "best brushes" when using mod podge.
I love little jars like this as i dry lots of flowers and foliage to use on my cards and home decor projects. It is so much nicer to keep them in little decorated bottles when they are drying rather than just plain old empty jars lol. They are also great for displaying your embellishments in for crafting.
I hope you have liked this little project, if you would like to see more home decor and bottle art projects please let me know.
